Day 2

We are slowly getting to see more of Seoul. This morning we went right to the agency after a lazy morning. Our sleep is still a bit messed up. We were both wide awake at about 4 this morning, but after checking email I went back to bed. Steve stayed up and watched Rounders.
The meeting with the President of the agency was nice. She is a very kind woman. We were with two other couples and their children. The President mentioned we were the first families to be there of the year and we know that the other two couples had just met their sons that morning...which means we were the first family to get there this year! :) The President spoke for a little bit about the history of the agency and we watched a short video. After that everyone went to have lunch in the agency cafeteria. The food was amazing. We had bulgogi, jap chae, fried wontons, Korean pancakes and a lot of other dishes. On our way out, we saw our Social Worker so we asked if we could see the famous throne! She took us up to the photo room and we saw where Simon became King Simon.
Next she offered to take us to the baby nursery which we were hoping to see. We went in for just a few minutes but did not hold any babies. There are about 40 babies in the nursery at a time. This is where the babies stay until there is a foster home for them. There were some tiny tiny babies in there. I didn't think we should post pics of the babies but this picture is obscure enough.

After that we went back to our room to change. The weather has not been our friend here. It's been raining and really cold. For awhile today some of the rain became snowflakes. After relaxing for a bit we headed towards the subway station. The subway is notorious in Seoul. I guess it gets super packed but it wasn't bad during our trip. We took it to a really large market area to do some shopping. It has finally stopped raining and the rest of our time here should be sunny and low 50's. Right now we are at a dessert cafe and I'm pretty sure this is the latest we've made it out so far. We will probably be heading in soon, we need to rest up for our last day as a twosome!
Weird..Steve just read this and pointed out we're at The Twosome Cafe.
