Simon's birthday

We received a nice surprise this morning... 

...birthday pictures!!! If it is even possible, he seems to be getting cuter every day. We got some basic growth info and Simon is doing well. He also has two more teeth on the bottom. 

I hadn't had a chance to blog that we were able to send a little birthday gift to Simon. Well, little may not be the right word. A friend of mine was traveling to Korea and offered to bring a package. Steve felt that Simon needed a hockey stick. Apparently it would be absurd for the kid to miss another season?!?! So we sent it along assuming that the stick would fit in her luggage. It did not and she carried the stick in her carry-on the entire loooong journey. I am slightly mortified, but we are happy to see that Simon seems thrilled with his gift!

We had a little celebration for Simon's birthday. We enjoyed some of the local Korean cuisine and shared a cupcake.  We can't wait to do it up big for birthday #2!
