Halloween 2015

Simon has been talking about being Batman for Halloween since last years Halloween so it was easy to pick our costumes this year for the annual neighborhood Halloween party. Simon stuck with Batman, Archer was Iron Man, Steve took Captain America and I was SpiderGirl. And before it was actually trick-or-treating time Simon had already picked out next years costumes. Wait and see.

We attended our annual party with the neighborhood, and since Halloween was on a Saturday we were able to head right from the party to trick or treating. I was worried Archer would go bonkers and think he needed to eat all of the candy, but he actually didn't get overly worked up about it and didn't even ask to eat any candy for awhile. In hindsight, he may not have been feeling well...

We made some loops around the neighborhood and Simon told us he was done, which is a nice way to end the evening rather than dragging them in hours later. We put in probably an hours effort and had more than enough candy. Archer maybe bothered going up to every 3rd house and enjoyed riding around in the stroller. Simon was on a mission and half the time I couldn't even see him. Real convenient to have the fastest and slowest trick or treater. We had a large group so it's nice that everyone has their eyes on everyone's kids. We eventually broke up and I stayed up front with Simon while Steve and Archer took their own leisurely stroll.

Archer in bed that night: "Happy halloweeeeeen, Omma- happy halloween. Candy. Trick or treat. Omma- thank you. Happy halloweeeeeeen. Candy, etc"
