Well, the day that I knew would come for almost a year now finally happened. We spent Archer's 2nd birthday without him. Pros: It was a freakishly warm beautiful day. Cons: Well you can figure that out.
A little over a month ago I dropped off a care package to be sent in the hopes that he would get it for his birthday so fingers are crossed that it made it's way to him.
For his big day, we went out to eat, ordered some cake for him which Simon was happy to eat for him and we even quietly sang a little Happy Birthday to him.

I'm glad it's done and we won't have to spend another birthday without him.
